Deadline Approaching for High Sheriff’s Awards for Enterprise

The deadline is approaching to enter this year’s High Sheriff’s Awards for Enterprise (12th November 2019).  Now in their 14th year, the Awards were introduced in 2006 by the then High Sheriff of Cheshire, David Briggs, MBE KStJ to recognise outstanding achievements by enterprises in Cheshire, Halton and Warrington.  They have grown to become Cheshire’s prime business awards event.

The Awards acknowledge and applaud businesses and individuals in our region and rightly, we look forward to this annual celebration in the business calendar at our Awards Evening in March 2020.  The High Sheriff of Cheshire, David Briggs intends to visit parts of the county which he has yet to see and is looking forward to meeting businesses across the area. He hopes that in his year, he can offer some hope, encouragement and confidence across the local economy and offer support to local charities too.

The Awards for Enterprise are an exciting part of the County calendar and David looks forward to being part of the judging process and meeting as many entrants as possible. The Awards represent one of the highest accolades of any competition of its kind in our County and he gives grateful thanks to the generous contributions from the Sponsors.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any queries regarding the categories or require further guidance on submitting your entry.  Telephone 01244 512888 or alternatively email sally.williamson@chester.ac.uk
