The CH1Chester BID Company are recruiting for Weekend Welcome Team members who will be out and about on the streets of Chester, acting as the friendly face of the City and point of contact for visitors and shoppers
from April to September on Saturdays and Sundays.
Following a training programme designed to acquaint you with the City and to enable you to deliver exceptional customer service, you will be on hand Saturdays and Sundays to guide shoppers and visitors around the key areas of Chester. You will help with directions, public transport information and offer suggestions about cultural, shopping, leisure and event highlights.
You will be managed and based at The Chester Visitor Information Centre, who will be on hand to assist and help you throughout your day.

0945 -1645 Sundays
We’re looking for candidates with great personalities, excellent
customer service skills and who are confident approaching people.
Energy, enthusiasm and a real passion for
Chester are a must.
Additional languages an advantage, but above all we need people
with common sense and a genuine desire to deliver a quality service.
– The Welcome Team will be on duty at weekends, on a rota basis (subject to a successful probationary period).Therefore flexibility is essential.
– The pay rate for Welcome Team members is £ 7.85 per hour. Extra hours may be available during busy periods
