Ellis & Co Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers has welcomed a new member of staff to its Chester office.
Glenda Hall, has joined the team on Northgate Street, as payroll assistant.
Fifty year-old Glenda, who has worked in payroll for almost 30 years, joins the team from Carden Park Hotel, where she worked for the past 15 years.
Her duties at Ellis & Co include: processing all aspects of payroll; administering the auto enrolment pension schemes; and resolving queries with clients and HMRC.
“This is an exciting challenge for me, “said Glenda, who lives in Chester with her husband.
“The payroll here is a little different to the hotel industry, so I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
A well-known business in Chester, Ellis & Co will be celebrating its 30th birthday next year.
“We are all delighted to welcome Glenda to the team,” said Robert Ellis, director of Ellis & Co, who started the business back in 1989.
“She has settled into her new role quickly and is fitting in well.”
