The Chester Tour: Guided Walks are daily from 20th July – 25th July, 10.30am and 2.00pm.  An introduction to the city’s heritage led by a member of the Guild of Tour Guides.  Meet you Guide in the Visitor Information Centre at the Town Hall for the start of the tour.  The standard prices for walks lead by the Guild of Chester Tour Guides are; Adults £7, concessions £6, families £16.  Please pay the Guide on arrival.  Booking not necessary.

Monday 24th July 2017:

The Kings Shilling
Recruitment and Remembrance – Lyn Hand of the Guild of Chester Tour Guides will lead a tour of places with connections to WW1 and describe the work of both the military and Cestrians during WW1.  At the end of the walk there will be an opportunity to see the collection of WW1 memorabilia at The Albion Inn.  (Those wishing to have lunch there should pre-book with The Albion). Begins at 11.00 am from outside the Visitor Information Centre at the Town Hall.  The standard prices for walks lead by the Guild of Chester Tour Guides are; Adults £7, concessions £6, families £16.  Please pay the Guide on arrival.   Booking Essential

Chester Civil War Pub Tour
Great tales with great ales! Come along and find out about one of the most momentous episodes in Chester’s rich history. With your very own Chester Cavalier you will find out about Chester’s role in the English Civil War, visiting pubs that are rich in Chester’s Civil War story. The tour lasts 3 hours and visits 4 pubs.  You will be expected to purchase a drink in each.  Over 18’s only.  The tour begins at 7pm at the Pied Bull, Northgate Street.  £10 per person.  Booking essential.
