Meet you Guide in the Visitor Information Centre at the Town Hall for the start of the tour. The History of St John the Baptist Church
An illustrated lecture by Reverend David Chesters describing the influence and impact of St. John’s on English and Welsh history. Begins at 3pm at St John’s Church, Vicars Lane. Booking not necessary.
How to Read a Coat of Arms
Learn the basic principles of heraldry and armoury by looking at local examples of coats of arms. Discover the meanings behind the features in these and then have a go at describing and creating a coat of arms. Begins at 5pm at the Cheshire Records Office, Duke Street. Booking essential.
