The official launch event for the Chester Mystery Plays will be on Tuesday 3 October 2017 at 7.30pm in the refectory at Chester Cathedral.
The artistic and production team will all be there:

Community actors will read extracts from the script – a first opportunity for you to hear Deborah’s new treatment – and Peter will tell us about how he is planning to approach the 2018 production. You will also be treated to a viewing of Dawn’s early set and costume designs and Matt’s rendition of Mystery Play favourites from past productions and maybe – if we’re lucky – a preview of what’s to come in 2018!
You will also be able to sign up to volunteer – we can accommodate (almost!) anyone’s talents and skills whether as a performer (actor, singer, musician etc), doing front of house or providing administrative/marketing support, or in helping with technical aspects of the production from costume and prop making to stage management and lighting/sound.
