Silver Clay Jewellery Class to take place at Chester Art Centre on the 22nd of October starting at 1 PM until 4.30 PM!
Learn to make your own personalised silver charms and or/ earrings in just one afternoon!
We will be using a fascinating material called metal clay (or silver clay). It is a clay based substance containing millions of tiny silver particles. When you fire the clay under a torch or in a kiln all of the clay burns away and you are left with a solid fine silver piece.
This class is a great introduction to working with metal clay and is great value as you will have your own silver jewellery set to take home with you.
Our experienced tutor will guide you through the whole process from creating your jewellery from clay, through to firing and polishing the solid metal items once they have been fired.
Absolutely no experience is necessary as this is a beginners level class and complete beginners are most welcome.
As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the class as well as plenty of tea and coffee!
