The chance to ride with the winner of 26 Tour de France stages, then look no further and be part of the most prestigious Sportive in the North. This bucket list ride across Cheshire, Chester and North Wales will see scenic forestry roads, linked with breath-taking views and iconic Welsh landscapes, full of challenging climbs and inspiring countryside as well as riding on closed roads in Chester.

All three Rise Above routes have been tweaked slightly from the 2015 event but they will again spread across Cheshire and North Wales. Rise Above will capture beautiful scenery and the famous Horseshoe Pass in Denbighshire, north-east Wales. The road reaches a maximum height of 417 metres (1,368ft) and offers one of the many challenges on the routes.
Once again we will be incorporating a Timed Climb sponsored by our Timing Partner DMR. Further information will be provided in due course.
