Get into the festive spirit with a Christmas carol concert at Chester’s unique Carriage Shed

As the Christmas season is now firmly upon us, there is nothing better than getting together to sing Christmas carols and drink hot drinks on a crisp winter evening, and ‘Carols at Carriage Shed’, taking place on Sunday 9th December, is the perfect occasion to do it.

Carols at Carriage Shed, which is running for the third year this year, is one of Chester’s most unique Christmas events and brings together families and friends from across Chester for an evening of fun and celebration.

The free event, which is managed by local church Vineyard 53, kicks off at 5pm with hot drinks, mince pies and crafts for children, with the main event starting at 6pm, with a live band and choir.

Carriage Shed, situated just next to the railway station, is one of Chester’s most beautiful outdoor events spaces, fully sheltered from the elements, and is a wonderful setting to come together for a Christmas celebration.

John Simmons, lead pastor at Vineyard 53 said “Christmas is a time for celebration and we would love to welcome people from across Chester and beyond to join us at this wonderfully unique event. Over the last three years we have gathered at Carriage Shed to sing Christmas Carols, we have felt a great sense of community – even battling through thick snow last year to ensure the event happened!”

Carols at Carriage Shed is just one of the Christmas events being run by Vineyard 53. More information on all the events can be found on the website www.vineyard53.org or email hello@vineyard53.or
