If your Mum is tea-riffic, this could be the perfect gift for Mother’s Day this year!
If you’re stuck for Mother’s Day gift inspiration this year, then Chester’s Business Improvement District, CH1ChesterBID, might just have the answer.
The company has just launched a brand new ‘Mum’s The Word’ competition with the hope of finding the best pearls of wisdom passed down from mums to their children.
The lucky winners will be pampered and spoilt with some VIP treatment – in true Chester city centre style – on Mother’s Day, with prizes including a £100 shopping voucher, a wine tasting experience and a free treatment at a premier hair salon in the heart of the city.
To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do explain in no more than 100 words, what’s the best piece of advice your mum ever gave to you? More information and the entry form can be found here:
Julie Charlton, Marketing Manager at CH1ChesterBID, said: “We’re on the hunt for mums in Chester with the best, funniest or wisest words of advice and our local businesses have supplied some absolutely fantastic prizes for the winners.
“Every mum deserves a little pampering and this competition could be the perfect way for people to reward their hard-working mums on Mother’s Day.
“The competition is free to enter but closes on Wednesday March 22, 2017, so we’re encouraging people to get their entries in as soon as possible. Best of all, if you’re a winner then Mother’s Day this year won’t have cost you a penny, but don’t worry – we won’t tell. Mum’s the word!”
The first prize includes a day of retail therapy in Chester city centre, with a £100 gift voucher to spend in-store at Debenhams as well as a complimentary personal shopper and a glass of wine. On top of this, the winner will receive a £50 voucher to spend on a meal at the popular French restaurant Chez Jules on Northgate Street.
The Mum awarded with second place will be treated to a wine tasting experience for two, courtesy of Veeno on Eastgate Street and the third prize winner will be heading to the award-winning hairdresser, Francesco Group Salon on Bridge Street, for a complimentary cut and finish with Salon Director Matt Haylor.
The winner will be announced on Friday March 24, 2017.
