TACKLING ROUGH SLEEPING IN CHESTER

CONSULTATION ON NEW ROUGH SLEEPERS SUPPORT HUB

Cheshire West and Chester Council has secured additional government funding to end rough sleeping in Chester and West Cheshire. Their plans include opening a 24-hour rough sleepers support hub on the ground floor of Hamilton House, rear of Watergate Street in Chester City Centre.

The purpose of this session is for city centre businesses to find out more about how the Council and its partners are working together to reduce rough sleeping and address associated issues around anti-social behaviour.

9.00 – 9.20: Presentation on proposals for new Rough Sleepers Support Hub 

9.20 – 9.45: Issues & concerns: An opportunity for you to raise any concerns and ask questions of a panel which will include officers from Cheshire West and Chester Housing Services, ForFutures (Council commissioned service provider for the homeless), CWaC Community Safety Team and Cheshire Police.
