Wilkinson Cameras – the North West’s leading independent camera retailer – opened in CHESTER on Monday, following the acquisition of Camera Solutions in Frodsham Street!
Exciting news for photography enthusiasts in and around Chester – Wilkinson Cameras has taken over the Camera Solutions store in town, with major plans for a complete refurbishment and development of the store over the next few months.
To celebrate the re-launch, Wilkinson will have many opening offers and are running a ‘Summer Sale’, offering bargains across the existing range of cameras, lenses and photographic accessories.
Doors are now OPEN!
While Camera Solutions has been the traditional go-to camera store in the city for over 20 years, the new investment from Wilkinson Cameras means a totally reinvigorated store and greater range of premium brands and stock – while maintaining the existing team of expert staff in store.
New services will also be added including camera repairs, in-store printing and passport photos – as well as demo days, sensor cleaning and even some brand new photography workshops in the local area, to be hosted by the Wilki team together with their pro photographer partners.
David Parkinson, Managing Director at Wilkinson Cameras said:

The change of ownership is effective from 5th August 2019, with significant investment planned including full store refit and new storefront before the end of this year. The store currently employs 4 full time staff, all of which will be joining the Wilkinson Cameras team.
